So many car dealers were filing cash for clunkers paperwork the overload crashed the website for awhile Monday afternoon.

Now the goverment is giving dealers until noon Tuesday to file paperwork, but the deadline for buyers is still 8 p.m. Monday to bring in your clunkers.

"Some of them are fairly nice cars that probably had a couple more years left," says Chuck Baker with Haley Toyota.

At Haley Toyota so many vehicles were brought in under the Cash for Clunkers program the new car lot is nearly empty.

"Normally, we have a couple hundred new cars in stock, we've got seven left in stock," says Chuck Baker with Haley Toyota.

Haley Toyota sold 111 vehicles under the program, but so far has only been reimbursed for one by the government.

Baker says he won't send the clunkers to the crusher until that money comes in.
