The Little League Challenger Division gives both mentally and physically challenged kids a chance to play the game.

A league in the Roanoke Valley has gotten great support for years.

Now a Clifton Forge man hopes the program will be a hit in his area.

"I think every kid is entitled to it," says Preston Reid.  "Every kid is entitled to the excitement of being able to compete in a baseball program."

It doesn't cost anything to play, and it's open to children and teens in Alleghany, Botetourt, Rockbridge and Bath Counties.

There will be an informational meeting this coming Tuesday at 7 p.m. the Moody Building, or the old Clifton Forge West School.

Anyone with questions can call Preston Reid at 540-969-6374.
