Hundreds of people took their dogs out on the town Saturday in Roanoke.
It was all about the pups in Elmwood Park for the 4th Annual Woofstock Dog festival.
There were four local bands, all local dog fans, putting on a show for the pets and their owners.
Organizers say at least 750 canines were out there soaking up the sunshine Saturday.
"It's just a great time. There's not many places you can bring your dog in Roanoke and this is definitely one of them," said Elliot Broyles, the event's organizer.
There were lots of games and contests for dogs.
All of the money raised today went to benefit five local animal rescues.
