BLACKSBURG, Va. — Virginia Tech is still a month away from practive and nearly two months away from its season opener on the football field. That does not mean the Hokies are not thinking about the implications surrounding this upcoming season.

Everyone is buzzing about the Hokies top flight experienced offense which returns the ACC's leading rusher, a senior quarterback experienced offensive line and wide receivers.

The defense though is much more of an uncertainty with seven starters graduated or having left early for the NFL draft.

"We are going to be dynamic on offense and have to learn some things on defense," said Hokies Defensive Coordinator Bud Foster.

Foster is not denying that this season will be a challenge. He says its been a while since he has coached a team with so much youth. But also says he thinks the team will be ready to play in the fall.
