ROANOKE, Va. — Appalachian Power customers should be able to pocket a bit more money beginning Sunday.
That's when two rate changes go into effect. One is the base rate, and the other change is the fuel factor.
It all averages out to about a two percent drop in your bill.
For a residential customer who uses about 1,000 kilowatt hours a month, their bill will go from roughly $105 dollars to about $103.50.
