ROANOKE, Va. — Family members of a marine corps company based in Roanoke welcomed home their heroes.
The company spent the last seven months in Afghanistan.
A few of the 29 members had to come home early because of injuries.
Rob Jones lost his legs in July but couldn't wait to see his the rest of his unit return.
"I just can't really believe that they're all back finally. It's just really overwhelming," said Jones.
While the company is based in Roanoke, the marines are from all over Virginia.
