Van Gogh among fine art to be displayed at Radford University

RADFORD,Va. — Millions of dollars worth of art will be on display soon at Radford University.
Among the 28 pieces, a painting by Vincent Van Gogh.
The masterpieces are part of a new art exhibition from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, showcasing its' 75 year history.
The final touches are still underway, but getting to this point hasn't been easy.
Art professors and directors of the RU Art Museum, Richard Bay and Steve Arbury, have worked on the project for more than a year.
For some, it's a chance of a lifetime.
"This is the most spectacular exhibition we've ever hosted at Radford University in its entire history.  We've got really major artists, Vincent Van Gogh, Lichtenstein, James McNeil Whistler," said Arbury.
The exhibition will kick off with an opening night reception at the RU Covington Center for Visual and Performing Arts next Friday, January 21st.
It will run through March 4th.
