A national report shows the airline industry didn't overbook or bump as many passengers in 2010.
Delta, a major carrier in Roanoke showed improvement ranking seventh up from 15th in 2009. US Airways which also has a presence in both Lynchubrg and Roanoke placed 6th. Overall, Airtran took the top spot.
The worst service for 2010 went to Comair, Atlantic Southeast, follwed by American Eagle.
The U.S. Transportation Department says complaints went up 28% last year. Delta Airlines had the most. United Airlines came in second with the most complaints. Continental was third.
The company with the least amount of complaints is Southwest Airlines.
