ROANOKE, Va. — A missing 16-year-old boy in Roanoke has been found.
Nathan Mailliard was located in the area near where he walked away from.
A spokesperson for the Roanoke Police Department said locating Nathan was helped by a citizen who passed along information that helped police officers find him.
The Roanoke Police Department is asking for citizens' help in finding a missing 16-year-old with cognitive delays.
The department says Nathan Mailliard went missing Tuesday from the 2300 block of Delaware Ave.
Nathan routinely takes medication.
Police ask that if you see Nathan, don't approach him because he could become agitated.

Roanoke Police are asking citizens to assist in locating missing 16yoa, Nathan Mailliard. Nathan went missing on Tuesday evening, 02/21/2012, from the 2300 block of Delaware Av. Nathan is a child with a cognitive delay and routinely takes medication. Nathan is a white male, 6'0'', 170lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, red shirt, blue jeans, and black and gray shoes. Efforts to locate Nathan by the Roanoke Police Department continue at this time. Roanoke Police ask that you do not approach Nathan as he may flee further or become agitated if confronted. Anyone with information of Nathan's location, please call 911 or (540) 853-5959.
