Anthony Hall was stabbed early Saturday morning at The Bridge Street Grille in the Norwich section of Roanoke city.

He later died at the hospital. Hall was 27 and a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School.

He is being remembered as an avid singer, outdoorsman and all-around good guy who even gave the shoes off his own feet to a man who's shoes were torn.

"Who he is as a man is what's keeping us going right now - a strong, hopeful, positive, energetic, bright light of a person," said JD Sutphin, Hall's cousin and friend.
