Police say Reginald Hobson was shot in the 1500 block of Lafayette Boulevard Saturday just before 2 a.m.

ROANOKE, Va. — A shooting in Roanoke sends one man to the hospital.

Police say Reginald Hobson was shot in the 1500 block of Lafayette Boulevard Saturday just before 2 a.m.    

There's no word on his condition. No arrests have been made.

Roanoke Police Department Investigates Aggravated Assault

Roanoke, VA- The Roanoke Police Department is investigating an aggravated
assault that occurred on November 10, 2012.  Officers responded at 1:50
a.m. to the 1500 block of Lafayette Boulevard in reference to shots fired.
Officers did not locate any victims or suspects.  Officers responded at
approximately 2:13 a.m. to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in reference
to an individual who arrived at the hospital after being shot.  Upon
arrival officers located the victim identified as Reginald Hobson, age 31
of Roanoke.  Officers determined that the incident occurred in the 1500
block of Lafayette Boulevard and Mr. Hobson was transported to the hospital
in a private vehicle.  No arrests have been made.  Anyone with information
regarding this or other crimes should call the Roanoke Police Department at
