Moped driver hurt after crashing into school bus in Radford

No one on the school bus was hurt.

RADFORD, Va. — A moped driver was hurt Friday morning after crashing into a school bus in Radford.

No one on the school bus was hurt. The accident happened around 7:15 a.m. Friday morning at the intersection of 2nd Street and Bolling Stret.

The driver of the moped was taken to Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg and treated for a possible broken wrist and ribs.

The moped driver was charged with failure to stop for a stop sign and having defective brakes.
