The Roanoke Police Department has released more surveillance pictures from a robbery of a 7-Eleven on January 19. Police say a man walked into the store and pulled out a gun. The Roanoke Police Department says the suspect has a distinct design on his jeans. Click here to see more surveillance pictures. ========================== Original story from January 22 Roanoke police hope a surveillance photo will help solve an armed robbery. A man robbed the 7-11 on Bennington Street Saturday morning.  The store clerk told investigators that the man came into the store around 4:15 a.m., pulled out a gun and demanded money.  He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A Danville is facing several charges after a home invasion Monday morning. Police say Demond Totten, 36, broke into a home in the 1500 block of Richmond Boulevard. He has been charged with armed robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a violent felony, breaking and entering while armed to commit robbery, abduction, grand larceny, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and respassing. Totten is being held without bond at the Danville City Jail.

Two men have been arrested for an August armed robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store in Salem. Timothy Boyd, 44, and Sean Stump, 43, both of Salem, were arrested recently. Police say a masked man walked into the 7-Eleven in the 1700 block of East Main Street in reference to an armed robbery. A store clerk told police that a masked man entered the store with a gun, and got off with money. Boyd and Stump have been charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

A Roanoke teenager has been charged with stealing money from a victim's home, and is also a suspect in the armed robbery of a business. Police believe 18-year-old Cody Thurman walked into Payday Title Loan in the 2300 block of Orange Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Monday and pulled out a gun and demanded money. Thurman was given an undisclosed amount of money, police say. After officers established a perimeter of the area, they got word of a second robbery - this time inside of a home.

A Vinton man has been arrested in connection to a gas station robbery Wednesday night in Roanoke. The robbery happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday at a Shell gas station in the 4800 block of Williamson Road. Police say Zachary Meador walked into the store, demanded money, and took off. After the clerk gave police a description, Meador was found in the 3800 block of Williamson Road. Meador, 25, has been charged with robbery.

Police in Danville won't say if two armed robberies are related. But both happened last night in the span of one hour. The first robbery was at the Fast Mart on Piney Forest Road around 10:30 p.m. The clerk says a man walked into the store, pointed a gun at her and demanded money. Another man acted as a lookout by the door. No one was hurt. The second robbery happened about 40 minutes later at the Wilco store on South Boston Road. The same thing happened. A man walked into the store with a gun and demanded cash.

The Blacksburg Police Department is trying to solve an armed robbery that happened Saturday night. The robbery happened around 10:15 p.m. at the Food Time Deli Mart. The suspect was last seen walking south on Hearthstone Drive, toward Giles Road. Investigators believe the suspect is familiar with the area. Anyone with information is asked to call the Blacksburg Police Department's tip line at 540-961-1819.
