Pittsylvania County sheriff's deputies are trying to find two people who robbed a man at gunpoint. This was Tuesday night, on Corner Road in the town of Java. Officers say the victim was going home after closing his store for the evening when two men wearing ski masks threatened him with a gun and took his money. An arrest has been made in a Roanoke bank robbery. After receiving a tip, Michael Davidson was arrested Wednesday. He is accused of robbing the Bank of America branch Monday in downtown Roanoke on Jefferson Street. Warrants had already been out for Davidson's arrest. ------------------------------- Original story from Dec. 11 A suspect has been identified in a bank robbery Monday in Roanoke. However, the Roanoke Police Department has not been able to find the alleged robber.

Henry County deputies are looking for a man wanted for a home invasion and robbery. Deputies were called to a home in the 200 block of Mars Drive in Axton around 10:30 Wednesday night. The homeowner said he heard a knock on the door, and a man pushed his way in and pulled a gun. Officers say the robber got away with cash and fired his gun several times as he ran off. To see more pictures, click here . ------------------- Roanoke police are looking for a man who robbed a Dollar General store at gunpoint. Officers say a man went into the store in the 2300 block of Orange Avenue at about eight o'clock Tuesday night. They say he took out a gun and demanded cash, then took off after he got it. No one was hurt. Below is the full press release from the Roanoke Police Department: The Roanoke Police Department is investigating a business robbery that occurred on November 27, 2012.  Officers responded at 7:59 pm to the Dollar General located in the 2300 block of Orange Avenue, NE.  A suspect entered the business brandished a firearm and demanded money.  No one was hurt.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office is investigating a robbery. It happened Sunday in the 1600 block of Cavalry Road around 7:00 p.m. They say a man wearing camouflage clothing, with his face covered with a mask went to the house on Cavalry Road. He knocked on the door and when the homeowners came to the door, the man demanded money. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the home. No one was injured during this incident. Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to contact the Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office.

Danville Police arrested two men after they reportedly tried to rob someone in the 1500 block of Richmond Boulevard. The victim told police he was talking with two men who approached him around 5:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon. That's when one of the men reportedly pulled out a box cutter and took his money. After taking the money, the two suspects took off on foot. Danville police arrested Antonio Jones and D'Quinnton Saunders, both of Danville.

Police in Martinsville are looking for two men behind a shooting and robbery. Officers say Joshua Hylton, and another unidentified person, shot and robbed a man after getting into a fight with him on Erwin Street on Wednesday. The man was taken to the hospital but has since been released. Hylton is charged with robbery and malicious wounding. If you see him, call the police.

Blacksburg Police are investigating two robberies that happened within an hour of one another. The first one happened around 6:50 p.m. Wednesday at a community center on Tall Oaks Drive at Hethwood Boulevard. The robber pulled a knife on someone who was working a pizza sale event. The robber ran off with a cash box and the victim's wallet. The victim did give a description of the robber, and police have released a sketch of him. About an hour later the CVS Pharmacy across from University Mall was also robbed.
