Eastern Divide made their debut on WDBJ7 Saturday morning. They've been playing together for about four years and are from the Roanoke Valley. Brent joined WDBJ7 in 1997, working behind the scenes as photojournalist, and eventually moved into the role of weekend weathercaster. Brent is a graduate of Old Dominion University and Mississippi State University's Broadcast Meteorology Program.

Email Elizabeth Follow Elizabeth on Facebook Elizabeth Harrington joined the WDBJ7 team in June 2010 as a reporter. She previously reported for WBOC in Salisbury, Maryland, for 6 years. She also anchored and produced newscasts at WBOC. Elizabeth is a lifelong resident of Maryland but excited to continue her adventures in the Commonwealth. Elizabeth graduated with honors from Towson University where she earned a degree in mass communications. When she's not working, Elizabeth enjoys going to the movies, taking walks, spending time with family (including her dog, Mindy)

Your Hometown News Leader scooped up three Emmys at this year's National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter Emmy Awards ceremony. Assistant News Director Greg Baldwin and Producer Melanie Crabtree represented the station at Saturday's event in Baltimore, Maryland. WDBJ7's 5 p.m. news took home an Emmy for "Best Daytime Newscast. " Our 11 p.m news was awarded an Emmy for "Best Evening Newscast. " In the category of "Team Coverage," WDBJ7 was awarded an Emmy for its reporting on an Interstate 81 accident.

E-mail Jean Follow Jean on Facebook Follow Jean on Twitter Jean Jadhon is Co-Anchor of WDBJ7 at Six, Anchor of WDBJ7 at 5, and a reporter. Jean began at WDBJ7 as anchor of News 7 at Eleven . One year later, she helped inaugurate News 7 at Five. In 2005 Jean took over the duties as co-anchor of the staion's flagship 6 p.m. newscast. Jean spends mornings reporting stories in the field and afternoons working on News 7 at Five and News 7 at Six. Jean is a native of central New York State and started her career as a reporter in Binghamton, New York, before heading to Syracuse, New York, as a reporter for the ABC affiliate there. Jean's work then brought her to the Gulf Coast of Florida where she anchored the weekday 10 o'clock news in the Fort Myers-Naples market.
